The poker for the students

As soon the academic semester ends for the students from the University of California, the poker games begin.

The poker clubs and organized tournaments exist in the UCLA since years.

The club was officially opened in the end of the last year but the first formal meeting will take place on November 29th. The first meeting is organized by the GPSTS and it focuses on the attendance of women in the world of poker and the psychology if the game.

In this meeting there will be a jury formed by three public speakers including Annie Duke, a professor of women studies and psychology professor. The events will begin at 7:30pm and will represent a big occasion for the students and the players to learn how to play poker.

Besides, the students and the poker players will be able to participate in the Poker Club in UCLA, to regular meetings, monthly during the discussion on the about the theory of poker.
